Photos Forgotten From Contact Sheet

Here are two images I forgot to put on my contact sheet from the last photoshoot. 

These images are edited so they have lots of movement; I did this using the camera mode: shutter speed. The bright colours suggest that it is a lively environment and is part of an event.

Consent For Image Usage from High Frequency

Unfortunately due to technical difficulties and their email being hacked, High Frequency were not able to send me a formal official email to say I could use their images as long as I still have their logos in the image. However one of the directors were able to send me a confirmation over Blackberry Messenger. This is my proof :

Over the Christmas Holidays

Over the Christmas holidays I went to three different dubstep raves which would have many primarily all the people in my target audience as they are all people who like dubstep and drum and base, like to go out and under 25. The events I went to were:


High Frequency:
XOYO on the 22nd of December
-XOYO being one of the notorious dubstep venues in central London.
Batchwood  on the 28th of December
-A massive venue with floor shaking bass, 3 rooms and massive smoking area.


Errrrh at Cable:
Voted London's best club for Dubstep and Drum and Bass for 3 years, located near tower of London.


At these events I took some images and thought they potentially could feature in my magazine, I made everyone who I took images of to sign the model release form and any images that I did not take from the event I wrote an email asking for permission to use the magazine and they replied allowing me to use the images. They will be posted as soon as possible.

I took these two pictures over the weekend on the 26th of November, I was with my friend Niki Burton who is also a select model and I was actually helping him to do some work for his photography. Then I had a thought that having some more images would benefit my own work in media so we went out onto a rooftop in Camden and took some images. These are the two best images and ones I will probably use.

I only have one post over my mise en scene; this is because I have presented the analyses of my photo shoot and images over a programme called Prezi. It is able to automatically update my presentation as I add to it and make any changes, so I only have one presentation to show the justifications of the all the different photo shoots.

This power point explains my second photo shoot, it includes where I travelled to, the model that I used, experimentations and the problems I had. This is to document my process of creating my magazine and identify the different methods I can use in the future for the other photo shoots.

This is the contact sheet for my second photoshoot shot in Seven Kings, Stratford with model Igor Stepanov

Model Release

These are the model release forms that I had my models sign before each photo shoot. They are important as they allow me to have creative freedom with the images I took. I am able to use my models to portray the image and style I intend without any problems with the models. They have no say in how I use the images and which images I use given permission.  Also the releases allow me to call back the models to re take images if they are not up to the standard I want.

This is the contact sheet from my first photo shoot; it also includes test shots to test out the flashing background lights. It has all images for my male and female models.  Contact sheets are good to show my progression and experimentations from the photo shoot. Also having a contact sheet allows me to pick which images were more effective and appealing to the eye.

Timelapse For Photoshoot

This video shows the first photo shoot I did for my magazine, I took all the photos for my male model but as I had to a model I had my friend Jade to take the ones of us together. Also I would like to point out at the times 0:26 I am doing my makeup, this is to do a transition of being a more natural and boyish look to a more extravagant and bold nightlife look.
